These economically challenging times require lawyers and law firms to re-think law firm risk management issues. The seminar will survey the status of lateral-hire screening at a time when there is an increase in lawyer and staff movement between firms; examine the primary Idaho authorities addressing both rights and responsibilities when firms dissolve or split; and, outline key considerations when economic tensions fray relationships between lawyers and their clients.
