The first jury trials of the COVID-19 age are set to begin with significant changes for courtroom practice and with a jury pool that has been impacted by stay at home orders and the downturn of the economy. This presentation from Keith Pounds, Ph.D, of Litigation Insights, will discuss the latest trends in changing juror attitudes based on national research. It will also consider how those changes in juror experiences and attitudes may impact jurors’ expectations for attorney and witness presentations in the courtroom. The presentation will conclude with a discussion of effective strategies for engaging trial presentations, adapted to work with the physical distancing restrictions put in place by the court.

In order to make best use of the time for the presentation, please submit any specific questions you have for Dr. Pounds to Jeffrey Street at jstreet@gfidaholaw.com by July 6, 2020.

This presentation will be presented via Zoom.  Registrants will receive an email with a link to attend the CLE on July 13th and another email reminder on the morning of July 14th.

If you think you will attend the CLE but have a potential conflict, please just go ahead and register so you will receive the link to the session.
