Deputy Bar Counsel Julia Crossland discusses ethical matters faced by lawyers in their day to day law practice. Ms. Crossland will provide some “best practices” tips for retaining clients, establishing the fee arrangement, dealing with non-attorney staff and proper handling of the lawyer trust account. HANDLING YOUR FIRST OR NEXT DIVORCE CASE
Family Law Section Governing Council member and experienced family law attorney John T. Schroeder (Schroeder Lezamiz) will discuss divorce cases that require legal representation - from the initial client interview to final judgment. Mr. Schroeder will review the necessary forms and detail best practices in preparation of the paperwork.
