MORNING SESSION
The Practice of Law in the Computer Age: Assessing Time, Technology & Resources
Successful lawyers use technology effectively to reach their goals. Although efficiency is important, effectiveness is the key! Learn essential techniques to help you be a more effective lawyer. See how technology can increase your productivity. Work smart, not hard!

AFTERNOON SESSION

In-House E-Discovery for Law Firms (Large and Small)

Learn how to bring e-discovery in-house! Differentiate your law firm by developing defensible and repeatable in-house capabilities to collect, review, produce, and present electronic evidence at trial. Incrementally bring more e-discovery services in-house for better quality of work, control of the process, increased law firm revenue and cost savings for your clients. This CLE is very practical with many computer demonstrations. Recent legal trends and improvements of technology make it possible for law firms to control and manage their clients’ electronically stored information internally, thus better protecting clients’ sensitive information and reducing or eliminating dependence on expensive outside e-discovery vendors. An incidental consequence of the inevitable evolution towards lawyer-management of e-discovery processes is the opportunity to make in-house e-discovery an additional profit center for law firms.
