Representing two or more individuals in planning, a transaction, or litigation gives rise to sensitive ethical issues, including confidentiality, authority to make decisions, conflicts of interest, preserving the attorney-client privilege and more.  The program will cover determining when a joint representation is ethically permissible, confidentiality and privilege issues, representing spouses and multiple generations of a family, and issues when adversity arises later.
