University of Idaho College of Law Professor and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs Richard Seamon in his presentation Native American Law Cases in the U.S. Supreme Court this Term will discuss the three important cases this Term involving Native American Tribes and their members. The cases concern domestic violence on reservations, tribal claims against the federal government, and tribal court authority over nonmember business. This presentation will discuss the issues before the Court, and assess the implications of the Court's likely decisions, in these pending cases.
