Sponsored by the Idaho Law Foundation

Length: Approx. 1 hr

1.0 CLE Credits

As awareness and rights of transgender employees increase, employees and employers alike need to stay informed about this rapidly changing area of the law. Attorneys should be working with employer clients to begin thinking proactively about the needs of their transgender workforce and be knowlegable of the rights of transgender employees and their entitlements under the law. In this CLE program, Leslie M. Hayes and Emma C. Nowacki, Office of the Idaho Attorney General, will discuss legal protections for transgender employees under Idaho and federal, current litigation around bathroom use and other transgender issues, and best practices for employers with transgender employees.
