9:00 a.m.  Farm and Ranch Tax Update - What's Hot in the Tax Court and IRS; Lingering Issues with the ERC and PPP

Roger A. McEowen, Washburn University School of Law

A nationally recognized expert in agricultural law and author of the textbook/casebook Principles of Agricultural Law, Professor McEowen, will provide a review of the significant caselaw and regulatory and administrative developments of importance to tax practitioners with an ag clientele base. He will also address solutions for the many issues and questions that have arisen concerning the interaction of the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) that have been modified throughout 2020 and into 2021 and have caused many questions for practitioners and taxpayers.
