Idaho State Police reported 5,070 arrests for allegations of crimes against property in 2020 involving larceny/theft, destruction of property, burglary, fraud, motor vehicle theft, robbery, arson, forgery, and embezzlement. The Idaho Law Foundation invites you to join Jeffrey S. White, Ada County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and John C. DeFranco, Ellsworth, Kallas & DeFranco, PLLC, for a two-hour presentation that you will not want to miss if you practice or want to practice criminal law involving property crimes.

During their presentation, Mr. DeFranco and Mr. White will discuss the basics of handling a property crimes case from screening the file to the acquittal or sentencing phase. Topics will include but not be limited to Idaho statutes, the drafting of criminal charges, presentation of evidence, the valuation of lost properties, the uptick in credit card fraud rings and the rapport between the Court and attorneys.
