The presentation reviews state statistics, while also discussing Health and Welfare’s oversight, capacity, and current treatment options, including, Idaho Department of Corrections Maximum Security Medical Unit and the two State Hospitals. This information is useful as a talking point for improvements in joint efforts by the Department and the legal community in serving this population.
