The Making of Tents to Towers: Bringing Idaho’s Legal History to Life
Sponsored by the Idaho State Bar, the Idaho Legal History Section, and the Idaho Law Foundation
Length: Approx. 1.0 hr
1.0 CLE Credits
Cost: $50
The Tents to Towers book has been in the making for over 30 years. Initially the Idaho State Bar's Board of Commissioners decided to collect a history of the bar in the 1990s, but that draft was shelved. It was discovered again in 2005 and was finally finished in 2025 by the diligent work of volunteers including Judge Debora K. Grasham, United States Magistrate, District of Idaho. Learn how this book was developed over the years and take a deep dive into interesting events of the Idaho State Bar and the legal profession in each decade.
It is our hope that this book and this presentation will inform and inspire a new generation of lawyers to build upon and create an even better future for those in the legal profession in Idaho.
